OKLAHOMA STOMP
“Oklahoma Stomp’ is a young Western Swing band proudly representing the great state of Oklahoma. These eight talented boys range in age from 12 to 20 and have been individually recognized with several prestigious awards in instrumental and vocal music competitions.
With Western Swing having its roots in Oklahoma, the band was born from a desire to preserve a part of Oklahoma’s heritage and honor the spirit of Western Swing music. A main goal of the band is to keep traditional Western Swing alive by introducing it to the younger generations.
The boys enjoy the opportunity to carry on the Western Swing music of Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys
